What You'll Learn
- How to turn on Outlook sync, and how your Microsoft 365 admin approves it once for the whole organization
- Choosing exactly who is synced — nobody is connected unless you switch them on
- How Candid sees when someone is busy: the times only, never what the meeting is
- Where to see the times Outlook has blocked, role by role, so candidates are never offered them
- Giving an interviewer their own hours, so whoever's time the candidate picks gets the interview
- Every booked interview appearing in the interviewer's Outlook, with the candidate's name and where to meet
- Choosing whether changes made in Outlook update Candid — moving the event moves the interview, deleting it cancels it
- Choosing whether the candidate gets a text when that happens
- Disconnecting at any time, with your existing calendar events left untouched

💡
Good to know: If you switch off "Update Candid automatically", an interviewer's Outlook event still blocks that time from being offered to candidates. It just won't move or cancel the interview for you.
